JAY Z LOOKS TO LAUNCH A VENTURE CAPITAL FUND

Less than a month after it was announced that Sprint had purchased a stake in Jay Z's streaming service, Tidal, Axios unveils Jay's next business move: venture capitalism. The website claims that Hov, along with business partner, Jay Brown, will launch a venture capital fund. It was also revealed that Hov was an Uber investor:

"Expect the focus to be on seed-stage tech opportunities, with this really being the institutionalization of Jay Z and Jay Brown's previous angel investing activities. For example, they both were in Uber's Series B, at a $300m pre-money," read the report.
